SAASGCC course is designed by world-renowned golf course designers, Thompson Wolveridge and Associates which is helmed by 5-time British Open Champion, Peter Thompson. The course comprises of 2 Nines, namely Sultan Nine and Alam Shah Nine. 

A third Nine – called President Nine is available for play on temporary basis until further notice.

Utilizing the terrain’s natural undulations and the lakes’ natural beauty, combined with trees and shrubs, the result is a scenic landscape that is most breathtaking.

The course also encompasses mounds and foothills to provide golfers with the thrills they seek. The fairways here are broad yet the greens are deceivingly tricky.

All these make SAASGCC a truly challenging course for golfers as they set out to tame the golf course.

Other exclusive facilities which you may enjoy at SAASGCC are our 3-level Clubhouse which houses a golf reception and administration centre, a pro shop, changing rooms, caddy and buggy stations, VIP suite and function rooms, viewing galleries and F&B outlets offering delicious cuisines.

Adjacent to the Clubhouse is our Sports Centre. You’ll find our beautiful landscaped swimming pool and other recreational facilities such as squash court, tennis courts, Children’s Playground and gymnasium most enjoyable.

The Location

Located just 25 kilometers away from Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam is the state capital of Selangor. Shah Alam was once known as Sungai Renggam and was famous for its rubber and oil palm estates.

Prior to Malaysian Independence, it became known as Batu Tiga. This name was eventually replaced with “Shah Alam” in 1978 by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in memory of his father, Sultan Alam Shah.

Shah Alam has grown into becoming one of the most well-planned cities with modern housing and commercial centers. It is also the birthplace of Proton’s first car manufacturing plant and various other major landmarks.

Shah Alam is truly famous for is its mosque, the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque.The Blue Mosque is one of the largest in Malaysia and in Southeast Asia with a capacity of 24,000 worshippers.

Shah Alam is also home to the Selangor State Museum, Selangor State Library, The Selangor Islamic Arts Complex, National Botanical Gardens and the Shah Alam Lake Gardens.

Located strategically in the heart of the Klang Valley makes Shah Alam a city that is easily accessible from all major urban centers in Selangor.

Local Attractions

This is one of the largest and most sophisticated mosque in South East Asia. The mosque which is situated at the centre of Shah Alam town is also known as the “Blue Mosque”. It is artistically architectured with a fantastic design surrounded by attractive landscape. The mosque can accommodate 24,000 devotees at any time.
The Museum houses 1001 secrets of Selangor’s artifacts, the background of Selangor Sultanate, the cultures and traditions of the Selangor community. This museum is open to the public daily except Monday.
This stadium is the most important venue for sports events especially for international sports events such as SEA Games. It can accommodate 80,000 people at one time.

i-City is a 72-acre ICT-based urban development beside the Federal Highway in Section 7, Shah Alam, Selangor. The Theme Park is filled with attractions for the whole family to spend a day out together.
